Giving back to the community is a key part of our company’s culture. From the start, Randy, Dave, and their employees have felt a strong duty to support those around them. Over the years, Coffin & Trout has donated more than $400,000 in merchandise and money, along with countless hours of volunteer work.

Randy Coffin is a Board Member of the Tempe Diablos. Since 1968, this group has focused on supporting youth, education, and the city of Tempe by providing leadership and resources. The Tempe Diablos are also the second-largest private provider of scholarships for Arizona State University.

Dave Trout was a Board Member of Phoenix Suns Charities. Founded in 1987, the charity works to improve the quality of life in the community by supporting organizations that help children in Arizona. Since it started, Phoenix Suns Charities, along with the team, fans, and sponsors, have donated over $10 million to Arizona organizations.

Our sales manager, Dean Reiter, joined the Board of Directors for Phoenix Suns Charities in 2009 and continues to actively contribute to their work.

In 2009, Brad Gould and Randy Coffin started the Dave Trout Memorial Golf Tournament to honor Dave and his commitment to the charities he loved. With the support of Dave’s parents, Marty and Barbara Trout, along with his family and friends, the event has been a great success.
