Description

David spent 35 years working as a jeweler, starting by learning basic skills while in college. After mastering these basics, he explored advanced techniques and found joy in learning new things.

David graduated from Texas A&M, where he first studied engineering before switching to marketing, delaying his graduation by a year. This background in engineering now helps him design complex jewelry with precision.

After college, David improved his artistic skills with an artist in Salado, TX. He learned to draw and sculpt, often losing track of time while sculpting jewelry out of wax.

David is committed to "never stop learning." He studied the work of jewelry masters like Cartier, Bulgari, and Tiffany, focusing on what makes their designs memorable.

In his design studio, David's drawing board is central. This is where he puts all the important details on paper. He believes that true design involves play—moving beyond the initial idea to explore new possibilities.

David enjoys using new technology to refine the design process. He believes technology should speed up the process, open up new possibilities, and allow for more complex designs.
